I don't know about you but we weren't exactly "ourselves" either. I know I was so hungry, I ate the entire buffet of food!

And I threw up afterwards but that's not the point!

[ A message comes through with the location of Hill House, as well as where her room is. ]

But after what I did I don't think...

[And with that, Mabel wasted no time in rushing over to Yuzu's side. The moment she found the house, she busted that door open and cried out for her name]

Hey, Yuzu, are you there? I know you are! Don't think you're hiding from me!

[ Yuzu flinched inside her room when she heard Mabel's voice, but she doesn't reply. The layout of Hill House means that there are various rooms for other people, and her message tells Mabel where her room is.

It is also labeled "Yuzu's Room" on the front, if that helps at all. ]

[Looking around the house, she wondered where Yuzu could be lurking. With a small hum, she narrowed her eyes as she kept her eye out on what room she could be in.

Luckily, it didn't take her long to find the very obvious sign outside the door.]

You know, Yuzu, if you wanted to hide you probably should have picked a better hiding spot.

[Just saying]

...I'm not hiding.

[ Her voice is muffled through the door, which is still locked. ]

You should really go... After what I did, I'd understand...

[meowbel]

Not until I know you're okay in there!

[Granted, she already knows she wasn't but she just wants some kind of confirmation that she was]

I'm not mad that you hurt me. [Pause] I'm just more scared you won't be my friend anymore.

[ Yuzu pauses at that.

Why would she still want to be friends...? She had seen clearly what Yuzu had done. What she can never take back.

The thought of separation and the guilt ravishing her heart leave her torn... but after a moment, the door slowly opens.

Yuzu is... not in any kind of good state. Physically or mentally. Her hair is down and somewhat messy, along with some bags starting to form under her eyes. Her head has a bandage wrapped around it, likely to deal with the wound caused by one of the rocks Mabel threw at her. Still, that's only one thing, and it doesn't explain the fact that she's wrapped in bandages all throughout her arms except where her skin is blackened.

It's as though she had hugged a very dangerous cactus (which she essentially was, after running from Mabel). Even if she could easily overpower a human, she was in a pretty dangerous place for a long period of time. ]

[The moment the door opened, Mabel wasted no time in rushing in. While it was true she was more scared of Yuzu no being her friend anymore, she was also equally scared of her. Try as she might to keep her distance, she just couldn't help but see what kind of state she was in.

Not only that, to see the bandages around her head only made Mabel feel so guilty. She didn't do that, did she?

While she might not know what happened after Yuzu ran off, she just knew it must have been bad. Taking a step closer, she hesitated. For a moment, she didn't really know how to interact with her friend. And yet...]

Yuzu, why didn't you tell me you were like this?! I could have gotten you some snacks or even made a sweater for you!

It's... not that bad.

[ It's definitely bad. ]

This just happened after I ran from you... my head is fine.

[ She notes the distance even after Mabel came into her room. She clutches her arms together in an attempt to stop them from trembling, and she takes a step back when Mabel steps closer.

Of course she was afraid. Yuzu killed a man and Mabel saw it happen. It's insane that Mabel is even here after Yuzu likely traumatized the younger girl. ]

[meowbel]

Yeah but it still doesn't stop me from being worried! I could have stopped by and given you some soup or chocolates to make you feel better!

[Because nothing fixes emotional anxiety and dread than having sugar in your system! Either way, she just looked back at Yuzu with a small smile.

Despite the distance, Mabel could see give her some encouragement]

I mean, I could do that right now! Don't know what kind of things you got in your house but I'm sure I can make something you'll like.

I didn't think you would want to after what I did...

[ She steps backward and sits on her bed, curling up into the corner. Partly for her own comfort, but mostly so that Mabel can feel more comfortable with more of the room's space open to her without getting too close. ]

I appreciate you coming here... but you don't have to do any of that for me...

[ She didn't deserve that kindness. Mabel may not know it, but she's done more than what she thinks Yuzu did. ]

Nope, too late! I'm in your house digging through your stuff!

[With that, off she went looking through whatever she could find in the place. The moment she walked downstairs, she didn't know what she could work with.]
