[ She stares at Mabel, her eyes watering. Yuzu never imagined that she'd be getting comforted by someone younger than her. ]

[ Her breath catches for a bit as a few tears roll down her face, which Yuzu quickly tries to rub away before taking Mabel's hand.

Mabel doesn't have to tell Yuzu that these things will happen eventually. Yuzu knows that her first actual feeding is coming up soon, but that doesn't stop her from being terrified. ]

[While there will always be a part of her that was scared of Yuzu, she was taking a leap of faith here. Hoping that Yuzu wouldn't try to do anything, that's when she gave her a hug.]

Don't mention it! The both of us could really use a hug.

[She said before momentarily looking down at the ground. She really really didn't want to think about eating people but it was something the both of them had to deal with.]

This really sucks.

[ She's surprised when Mabel hugs her. She knows that Mabel is still scared of her, even if only a little.

So, her hands trembling a bit, she hugs back. She tries her best to be as gentle as she can about it. ]

[ It may not ever happen, but... Yuzu hopes that one day Mabel won't be afraid of her. ]

[Mabel wasn't letting go anytime soon. If anything, she kept looking at Yuzu with that same sad smile.]

But I don't really know how to deal with it. Between trying to eat people and learning how we're suppose to accept it? I don't know what else I can do.

[Because she is just a 13 year old girl. While she knew she was still young, it was times like these she wished she was an adult. Maybe she would learn how to accept these things better.]

[ Learning how to accept it... it won't come immediately, if at all. She still remembers how Yuya reacted after his first time feeding.

Still... she can't just be the one getting support. Mabel being here has helped tremendously... so trying to support Mabel in the coming month was the least she could do. ]

[That being said, the girl couldn't help but wonder if she should say something. There was a part of her that wanted to be selfish and comment about her own issues. However, as she listened on Yuzu, a small frown appeared.]

You sure? I mean, I don't want to be a jerk and just dump all of issues onto you. That wouldn't be fair.

[ If anything, Yuzu's felt selfish for constantly having to lean on Mabel. She's the older girl, and Mabel must have her own issues. ]

[For a moment, Mabel didn't say anything. She didn't want to be the selfish person like she was before. If there was one thing she learned over the summer, she can't always get what she wanted. The fact that Yuzu was here to tell her this?

Yeah, we should. It's just...it's kind of difficult when I don't want to eat people. I know I have to eventually but it really sucks that I do.
