It's working! <SongDiva> These computers are... strange, but it looks like I managed to get it working alright! I'll uh, try to get back to you as soon as possible if you say anything here! | ||||

[ Thank god for that, actually... ]
Ah, you mean this month's craziness?
Not much to say that hasn't already been said... suddenly we all had doppelgangers who look like us and act like our opposites running around.
Honestly I probably got off easier than most... sure, me and my clone wanted to claw each other's hair out, but we were both used to this kind of thing already so we just... tolerated each other.
[ Putting a lot of it lightly for some reason... ]
<Zigazigah>
I'm glad yours was apparently as benign as one could hope. You make it sound more like you had a sibling show up instead of a double.
[Which is a little funny...but Yuzu's account is definitely light on trauma.
But if that's intentional, Trish isn't about to pry.]

[ A long pause... ]
I can't say it was a good experience, though. It all ended pretty terribly still.
<Zigazigah>
I apologize for being absent during all of this. It was a lot to go through and I don't doubt you were all overwhelmed.
But if you're sure you're fine, I won't mention it again. I know how no one likes to linger on the things that happen here.
< SongDiva >
[ It's a lot... and to be honest, she does want it to not be brought up. She's already struggling to work through her thoughts that had been thrown into disarray seeing someone who looked like her... like a fifth counterpart...
Honestly just the fact that she looked so much like her had sent her spiraling for a bit. Her head has been a bit of a mess since even before she got here, but that specifically was what tossed her mind around the most. ]
Still, are you sure you don't need anything? You must still be pretty frazzled after sleeping for so long.
<Zigazigah>
Even if it is maddening to wake up like it's any other day and all the people you care about have been through hell.]
I think so. I don't feel unwell, just groggy.
If anything, what troubles me the most is how it feels like no time has passed at all. Unless you have a remedy that can make me feel like I'm where I ought to be, there's not much I can think of to trouble you with.
< SongDiva >
Hm... can't say I've got one of those...
But I can give you a quick brush if you need one.
<Zigazigah>
But what Trish doesn't know can't hurt them both...right?]
No, I suppose not. Not unless you could give me memories I can't possibly have.
I wouldn't say no to some company though.
[A subtle way of giving Yuzu that very thing, since really, Trish is fine? She's fine. Which is exactly the problem.]
< SongDiva >
Ha, some company sounds great. I'll be right over.
<Zigazigah>
[Trish will insist, because in the space between catastrophes...there's nothing but time. Nothing to do but think, or find distractions.
She's in her bedroom at any rate, back to her quasi-human form and free of her bear self until nightfall.
It's probably hard to tell she has bedhead when her hair is always piled on top of her head, but she does look a little drowsy still, whenever Yuzu drops by. She gives Yuzu a salute in lieu of a proper greeting too.]
action
Hey sleepyhead.
[ Just a small jab as Yuzu comes in, sitting down near her furry friend. ]

If your makeup is put together, you are also put together: a corollary that does not actually exist.
It won't be hard to miss the bags under Yuzu's eyes, perhaps, but if Trish notices them, he doesn't say anything.
Rather, she shimmies to settle next to Yuzu, sweeping her tail to rest in her lap and out of the way.]
Hey yourself.
[She is studying Yuzu though, which will immediately be obvious. As if she can stare down the other girl and grasp the passage of time.]
...It's good to see you, Yuzu. Even if it feels like only yesterday to me.
no subject
It's good to see you too...
[ It's the only win she's had so far this month, honestly. She keeps that to herself, though. In terms of the passage of time... aside from the bags, just a little longer hair and... a little less light in her eyes. ]

[Trish's tail twitches, but she keeps it draped in her lap, so it drums at her knee with a leisurely tempo.
Trish does see the shift in Yuzu's appearance, but she remembers being bedraggled after the week everyone was children. It would be silly to assume Yuzu didn't have trouble with other doubles, even if her own was supposedly benign.]
With the little things, I mean.
[Since they agreed not to discuss the doubles much.]
no subject
[ Little things, huh? Well with Yuya gone and her taking that pretty hard, she can't say she has... ]
Yeah...
[ So obviously she does say that she has been handling herself well, clearly. It doesn't make her feel any better, but it doesn't make her feel any worse either.
Though... ]
...can you keep a secret?
[ Maybe with Trish she can mention... one recent thing. ]
no subject
So it's surprising to hear Yuzu say that.
A secret?
She doesn't imagine Yuzu of all people would need to hide anything. Then again, Ryslig gave everyone something to haunt them.
She's quiet a moment, just to give Yuzu a chance to consider if she really does want to share without pressure, before saying:]
I can do better than that, depending. [Bite someone, if need be.] What is it, Yuzu?
no subject
It... isn't the first time I've met someone who looked just like me, so seeing my doppelganger just explode like that... I think it messed up my head a bit.
[ Which... may need some elaboration, but ultimately it's... not even a big secret. It's just something she wants kept from one person in particular. ]
no subject
Of course, Yuzu's statement can be taken a number of ways. Did she have a twin she hadn't known? That's like something out of movie, but far stranger things have happened.
So it's off that Yuzu finds it worth secrecy. Anyone would be shocked, wouldn't they?]
I would be surprised if it didn't affect you at all. Even if it was a fake, that was your face they were wearing.
[However...]
Something like this didn't happen before, did it?
[Back home, she means. Since if that were the case, it would mean Yuzu was forced to relive an old trauma.]
no subject
[ Yeah, it's sort of an illogical reason to want it to be kept a secret... but she asks anyway. ]
No, it's just... it's complicated, but back home? There were three other girls who had the same face as me... and this reminded me of them.
[ She sighs. ]
Sorry, this is all pretty confusing, isn't it?
no subject
[Trish admits gently. If only because she's not sure of the significance of these other girls. She doesn't call them sisters, so why they looked like Yuzu is unclear.
But it does clarify why these doubles were so harrowing.]
Those other girls...did something happen to them?
